Description
The XSR sFPDP Recorder captures up to 8 simultaneous sFPDP streams (VITA 17.1 and VITA 17.3) at per-channel rates from 2.125 to 10.3125 Gbps, sustaining 2 GB/s aggregate write to up to 80 TB MLC SSD or 40 TB SLC in RAID 0, 1 and 5 via XSR Removable Data Modules. An Intel Xeon Gen 11 processor with 96 GB DDR4, GPS/NTP time synchronization and a C++ recording control API support real-time data management and post-mission exploitation. Optional 2× 10GbE SFP+ and 5× GbE RJ45 network interfaces extend connectivity, while CSfC-compatible SWFDE and HWFDE encryption with NIAP approval and FIPS 140-2 qualification protect the most sensitive airborne payloads. MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 qualification and a 60,000 ft operational altitude rating make the XSR sFPDP Recorder a proven Size, Weight and Power (SWaP)-optimized solution for radar, EW and SIGINT recording missions.
Advantage
Eight full-rate VITA 17.3 sFPDP channels on a single SWaP-optimized platform, with CSfC-compatible dual-layer encryption, NIAP approval and 60,000 ft altitude qualification — delivering the broadest sFPDP recording coverage available in one ruggedized airborne unit.
Radar and EW data recording
Captures high-bandwidth sFPDP streams from airborne radar and electronic warfare systems, sustaining 2 GB/s aggregate write across up to 8 simultaneous channels at altitudes up to 60,000 ft.
SIGINT payload recording
Full-rate VITA 17.3 sFPDP recording from wideband SIGINT receivers at up to 10.3125 Gbps per channel, with GPS-stamped time correlation and CSfC-compatible encryption for classified airborne collection.
Flight test instrumentation
Simultaneous multi-channel sFPDP capture with GPS-stamped time correlation for test-article validation, supported by a C++ recording control API and removable XSR RDMs for rapid data recovery between test sorties.
