— What Spectra delivers —
Spectra Defense Technologies designs, produces and supports ruggedized electronics and software systems across the full Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) mission chain. From initial data acquisition to final visualization, every system is engineered to perform in the harshest operational environments — in the air, at sea, on land and in space.
Capture
Capturing mission data with precision is the foundation of every C5ISR system. Spectra’s data acquisition and recording solutions support a wide range of input types — analog, digital, video and fiber optic — with precise timing, open-standard formatting and expandable storage. Systems are designed for rapid deployment across fixed-wing, rotary-wing, unmanned, naval and ground platforms.
Products include the RIPR series, RAPTOR fiber optic recorder, XSR family and G1 Micro recorder.
Process
Between acquisition and display sits the most demanding layer of any C5ISR system: processing. Spectra’s ruggedized computing platforms deliver high-performance processing, multi-layer data-at-rest encryption, secure networking and data routing at the tactical edge. Open-architecture designs minimize vendor lock and enable AI-driven analytics on current and future programs.
Products include the ACB300 GPU-enabled mission computer, ACB100/200 edge computers, HPR processor and XSR mission computer.
Display
Mission data is only as useful as its presentation. Spectra’s display portfolio spans 5″ to 43″ ruggedized LCD monitors engineered for sunlight readability, night vision goggle (NVG) compatibility and harsh-environment operation. Supporting peripherals — including secure KVM switches, rugged keyboards and touchscreen control panels — complete the operator interface from platform to platform.
Products include the ARD series airborne displays, ground vehicle displays and the full Spectra peripherals line.
— Custom engineering —
From concept through sustainment
Standard products rarely meet the full demands of a defense program. Spectra’s engineering teams across Alpharetta, Georgia; Oslo, Norway; and Las Cruces, New Mexico work directly with program offices and prime contractors to develop custom and modified-off-the-shelf (MOTS) solutions tailored to specific platform, environmental and schedule requirements. Support doesn’t end at delivery — Spectra provides long-term sustainment, spares and training for fielded systems.
Credentials
From concept through sustainment
AS9100 and ISO 9001:2015 certified. DFARS 252.204-7012 compliant. Proven across dozens of fixed- and rotary-wing military platforms, naval vessels, ground vehicles and space systems for the U.S. Department of War, NATO, European defense organizations and allied partners worldwide.

Your program deserves a partner who delivers.
Quality, compliance, and commitment aren’t just words, they’re how we operate every day. From first design review to final system sustainment, our capabilities enable your program success.
