The XSR Rugged NAS delivers ruggedized, high-capacity network-attached storage for airborne ISR and tactical edge platforms. Built on Intel Core i7 or Xeon processors with up to 96 GB SDRAM, it provides 13 standard GbE ports with optional 10GbE, 25GbE and 40GbE upgrade paths, up to 80TB MLC SSD storage in RAID 0, 1 and 5 configurations, and support for SMB/CIFS, NFS, AFP, FTP, HTTP and rsync protocols. GPS and NTP time synchronization, optional XTS-AES 256-bit FIPS 140-2 encryption and MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461 qualification ensure reliable data management from 3.7 kg in SFF or half-rack form factors at altitudes up to 60,000 ft.

Advantage

Combines a 13-port GbE switch, up to 80TB SSD and multi-protocol file serving in a Size, Weight and Power (SWaP)-optimized airborne chassis. Flexible RAID and JBOD modes, scalable high-speed network options and optional FIPS 140-2 encryption make the XSR Rugged NAS the single storage node for complex multi-sensor ISR payloads.

Airborne NAS for ISR

Provides shared, high-capacity network storage across multi-sensor payloads on fixed-wing and rotary platforms, consolidating EO, IR and radar data streams into a single ruggedized node without additional switching infrastructure.

Tactical edge data distribution

NFS, SMB and rsync protocols distribute mission data to crew workstations and ground exploitation systems in real time, enabling in-flight analysis and immediate post-sortie exploitation without additional transfer hardware.

Multi-sortie data management

JBOD and RAID flexibility supports both maximum-capacity and redundant-storage mission profiles, allowing operators to configure the XSR Rugged NAS for high-volume collection sorties or data-protection-critical reconnaissance missions without hardware changes.
